Before You Start

Common installation precautions for MEF Center and MEF Edge:

• MEF Center and MEF Edge must be installed on different servers.
• The software versions of MEF Center and MEF Edge must be consistent.
• The CloudCore and EdgeCore versions must be the same.
• The GNU LIBC version in all environments must be 2.28 or later.
• The Docker version in all environments must be 18.09 or later.
• Properly configure the Kubernetes pressure eviction threshold to ensure that the used drive space of the physical node is less than or equal to 85% and the remaining space is greater than or equal to 200 MB.

• Check and verify that the device is running properly.
