Using MindStudio Insight to Visualize Profile Data

Prerequisites

You have performed operations in Profile Data Collection or Using msprof-analyze to Perform Analysis and obtained the corresponding deliverables.

Procedure

1. Install MindStudio Insight.

   Download and install MindStudio Insight by referring to ""Installation and Uninstallation"" in MindStudio Insight User Guide.

   The MindStudio Insight visualization tool is recommended for use in a Windows environment.

2. Double-click the MindStudio Insight shortcut icon on the desktop to start the MindStudio Insight.
3. Import the profile data.
   1. Copy the profile data in Profile Data Collection or Using msprof-analyze to Perform Analysis to a Windows environment.
   2. Click Import Data in the upper left corner of the MindStudio Insight page. In the displayed dialog box, select the profile data file or directory and click Confirm, as shown below.

4. Analyze the profile data.

   After MindStudio Insight visualizes the profile data, you can analyze the performance bottleneck more intuitively. For detailed analysis methods, see MindStudio Insight User Guide.
