Memory Chart

Memory Chart associates the data displayed by AI Core Metrics with the organizational structure of corresponding hardware to help you clearly understand the relationship between memories and data flows.

Memory Chart displays only the read/write rates and data flows of the compute and memory units. Figure 1 shows only part of the Memory Chart. For details about all fields, see Table 1.

  • If the AI Core profiling switch is set to Pipeline Utilization or Arithmetic Utilization, this chart is not displayed.
  • When the AI Core profiling switch is set to UB/L1/L2/Main Memory Bandwidth, if you click a UB/L1/L2/Main Memory unit, the unit and its data flow arrows are highlighted, and the collected data of the unit is displayed when your cursor hovers over the unit.
  • When the AI Core profiling switch is set to L0A/L0B/L0C Memory Bandwidth, if you click a L0A/L0B/L0C Memory unit, the unit and its data flow arrows are highlighted, and the collected data of the unit is displayed when your cursor hovers over the unit.
  • When the AI Core profiling switch is set to UB Memory Bandwidth, if you click a Unified Buffer unit, the unit and its data flow arrows are highlighted, and the collected data of the unit is displayed when your cursor hovers over the unit.
