Using an Excel File to Configure Deployment Parameters for Software Installation or Upgrade

When batch installing or upgrading NPU firmware and drivers, CANN packages, AI frameworks, MindCluster components (performance test, fault diagnosis, and cluster scheduling), MindIE images, as well as configuring HCCN parameters, you can fill in an Excel file to import the parameters required by the inventory file. This configuration mode can be used only on Windows.

Excel File Download

The Excel file name is inventory_template.xls, which is downloaded together with the MindCluster Ascend Deployer installation package and stored in the ascend_deployer directory.

Usage Instructions

1. Read instructions carefully and fill in the file as required.
2. Save the filled file as a CSV file in UTF-8 format.
3. Place the CSV file to the ascend_deployer directory.
4. Run the trans_excel_to_inventory.bat script (which is also stored in the ascend_deployer directory) to extract the CSV content and save it to inventory_file.
