--soc_version

Description

Specifies the Ascend AI Processor model used in the model running phase.

The model conversion phase does not depend on the Ascend AI Processor. However, the value of --soc_version used during the conversion must be the Ascend AI Processor model used in the model running phase after the conversion.

Compatibility: The OM offline model converted from the CANN software package of an earlier version can run in the environment of the CANN software package of a later version. The compatibility period is one year.

Argument

To query the value, perform the following steps:

• Run the npu-smi info command on the server where the Ascend AI Processor is installed to obtain the Chip Name information. The actual value is AscendChip Name. For example, if Chip Name is xxxyy, the actual value is Ascendxxxyy.
