Restrictions
- A maximum of four concurrent access channels are supported. The overall performance specification is 4096 W x 2160 H@45 FPS.
- The maximum resolution of a single-channel video input is 16384 x 16384, and the minimum resolution is 120 x 120. After different functions are enabled, there are additional restrictions on the resolution specifications. The details are as follows:
- After image stabilization is enabled, the minimum resolution is 1280 x 720 and the maximum resolution is 4096 x 2160.
- After distortion correction is enabled, the minimum resolution is 640 x 480 and the maximum resolution is 8192 x 8192.
- After RAW image compression is enabled, the maximum resolution is 4096 x 4096.
- After RAW image frame compression is enabled, the minimum resolution is 640 x 480.
- When the sensor module directly outputs YUV images, only pipe 2 and pipe 3 support the access of YUV422 8-bit images. The width range is [560, 3840] and the height range is [300, 2160].
- For all input and output resolutions, the width and height must be 4-pixel aligned.
- WDR is supported. A maximum of two WDR frames and multiple WDR timings are supported.
- Supported data width: 8-bit, 10-bit, 12-bit, or 14-bit.
- APIs related to pipe and channel stream obtaining (hi_mpi_vi_get_pipe_frame, hi_mpi_vi_release_pipe_frame, hi_mpi_vi_pipe_get_buffer, hi_mpi_vi_pipe_release_buffer, hi_mpi_vi_get_chn_frame, and hi_mpi_vi_release_chn_frame) support multi-thread concurrent calling while other VI APIs do not. All VI APIs do not support multi-process calling.
