Frame Combination WDR Mode
- The sensor_init function uses the initialization sequence in linear mode.
- For the frame WDR sensor driver, adapt the cmos_set_wdr_mode, cmos_get_inttime_max, and cmos_inttime_update functions according to the existing driver in the SDK.
- Pay attention to the cmos_get_sns_regs_info function. Generally, the exposure time register of the sensor is set to the exposure time for long frames and exposure time for short frames in turn. Therefore, the following requirements must be met for the cmos_get_sns_regs_info function:
- One more group of sensor registers is used to set the exposure time of short frames. The address of this group of exposure time registers is the same as that in linear mode. Therefore, reg_num = reg_num in linear mode + 1 (group). reg_addr configured for the new sensor register is the same as that in linear mode.
- delay_frame_num of the long frame exposure time = delay_frame_num of the short frame exposure time + 1.
- update of the exposure time for long frames and short frames = HI_TRUE.
Generally, in the frame WDR mode, you are advised to configure the exposure time for short frames and long frames in sequence to reduce the motion smearing.
