Function
Description: Performs the backward computation of aclnnSwiGlu, completing the SwiGlu backward gradient computation for x.
Formula:
outA = yGradi*[sigmoid(A)+sigmoid(A)*(1-sigmoid(A)*A)]*B
outB = yGradi*sigmoid(A)*A
Where A represents the first half tensor after x is split into two halves along the specified dim dimension, and B represents the second half tensor after x is equally split. outA and outB are concatenated into out.
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnSwiGluGradGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnSwiGluGrad" API is called to perform the computation.

Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor yGrad (aclTensor*) Input Input of the gradient in backward propagation, which is the weight tensor used to convert the forward output tensor into a scalar, i.e., yGradi in the formula. - Empty tensors are not supported.
- The data type must be the same as that of the computation input x.
- Except for the dim dimension, all other dimensions have the same size as x, and the size of the dim dimension is half that of x.
BFLOAT16, FLOAT16, FLOAT32 ND 1-8 × x (aclTensor*) Input Represents the data to be computed, i.e., A and B in the formula. - Empty tensors are not supported.
- The tensor dimension must be greater than 0. In the shape, all dimensions except the dim dimension must have the same size as yGrad, and the size of the dim dimension is twice that of yGrad.
- The shape does not support non-64-byte alignment.
BFLOAT16, FLOAT16, FLOAT32 ND 1-8 √ dim (int64_t) Input Dimension index to be split. Value range: [-x.dim(), x.dim()-1]. - - - - out (aclTensor*) Output Represents the computation result, which is the combination of outA and outB in the formula. - The data type is the same as that of the computation input x.
- The shape is the same as that of x.
BFLOAT16, FLOAT16, FLOAT32 ND 1-8 √ workspaceSize (uint64_t*) output Returns the workspace size to be allocated on the Device side. - - - - - executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - - Atlas inference products : Supports FLOAT16 and FLOAT32 data types.
Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.
The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:
Return Code Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed yGrad, x, or out is a null pointer. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of yGrad, x, or out is not within the supported range. The dim value is out of the valid range.
aclnnSwiGluGrad
Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side. workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnSwiGluGradGetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution. Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnSwiGluGrad defaults to a deterministic implementation.
