Function

  • Description: This operator, also known as the Swish function (β=1\beta = 1), performs the SiLU function operation on the input tensor element-wise and outputs the result tensor.

  • Formula:

    outi=selfi1+e−selfiout_i = \frac {self_i} {1 + e^{-self_i}}

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnSiluGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnSilu" API is called to perform the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnSiluGetWorkspaceSize(
  const aclTensor* self,
  aclTensor* out,
  uint64_t* workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor** executor)
aclnnStatus aclnnSilu(
  void* workspace,
  uint64_t workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor* executor,
  aclrtStream stream)

aclnnSiluGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-Contiguous Tensor
self (aclTensor*) Input The input parameter for the SiLU computation, corresponding to the input self in the formula.
    • Supports empty tensors.
    • The data type and shape must be consistent with out.
    FLOAT16, FLOAT, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √
out (aclTensor*) Output Output parameter of the computation, i.e., out in the formula. The data type and shape must be consistent with self. FLOAT16, FLOAT, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √
workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be allocated on the Device side. - - - - -
executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation process. - - - - -
    • Atlas inference products, Atlas training products: The supported data types are FLOAT16 and FLOAT.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed self or out is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self and out is not within the supported range.
The data types of self and out are inconsistent.
The shapes of self and out are inconsistent.

aclnnSilu

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Workspace memory address applied for on the Device side.
workspaceSize Input Workspace size applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnSiluGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
stream Input Specifies the stream on which the task is executed.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnSilu defaults to a deterministic implementation.
