Function

  • Description: Computes the inverse matrix of the input square matrix.

  • Formula:

    A−1A=AA−1=In{A}^{-1}A = A{A}^{-1} = {I}_{n}

Where AA is the input tensor, A−1A^{-1} is the inverse of AA, and InI_n is the nn-dimensional identity matrix.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnInverseGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnInverse" API is called to perform the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnInverseGetWorkspaceSize(
    const aclTensor* self,
    aclTensor* out,
    uint64_t* workspaceSize,
    aclOpExecutor** executor)
aclnnStatus aclnnInverse(
    void* workspace,
    uint64_t workspaceSize,
    aclOpExecutor* executor,
    aclrtStream stream)

aclnnInverseGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
self (aclTensor*) Input Input square matrix. The last two dimensions must be equal. Empty tensors are not supported. FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE ND 2-8 √
out (aclTensor*) Output Outputs the inverse matrix. The data type and shape must be consistent with self. FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE ND 2-8 √
workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be allocated on the Device side. - - - - -
executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation process. - - - - -
    • Atlas training products: The data type FLOAT16 is not supported.

    • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products: The data type DOUBLE is not supported.

  • Return Value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 Indicates that the passed self or out is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self or out is not within the supported range.
The data types of self and out are different.
The shapes of self and out are inconsistent.
The last two dimensions of self are not equal.

aclnnInverse

  • Parameters

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Specifies the workspace memory address applied on the Device side.
workspaceSize Input Specifies the workspace size applied on the Device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnInverseGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution.
  • Return Value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnInverse defaults to a deterministic implementation.
