Function
Description: GLU is a gated linear unit function. It evenly splits the input tensor into two tensors along the specified dimension dim, and performs element-wise multiplication between the first half tensor and the Sigmoid function output of the second half tensor.
Formula:
a represents the first half of the input tensor after it is evenly split along the specified dim, and b represents the second half.
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnGluGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnGlu" API is called to perform the computation.

Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor self (aclTensor*) Input Input tensor for Glu computation. This input tensor is evenly split along the specified dimension dim into two tensors a and b in the formula. - Supports empty tensors.
- The tensor dimension must be greater than 0, and the shape must be divisible by 2 along the dimension specified by dim. The shape is expressed as $(*_1,N,*_2)$, where $*$ denotes any number of additional dimensions and $N$ denotes the size of the dimension specified by dim.
DOUBLE, FLOAT, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √ dim (int64_t) Input Specifies the dimension along which to split the input self. Value range: [-self.dim, self.dim-1]. - - - - out (aclTensor*) Output Computes the output tensor. The data type must be castable from self. The shape is $(*_1,M,*_2)$, where $*$ represents the corresponding dimension in self and $M = N / 2$. DOUBLE, FLOAT, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √ workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - - executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - - Atlas inference products ,Atlas training products : The supported data types are DOUBLE, FLOAT, and FLOAT16.
Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.
The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:
Return Code Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The self or out is a null pointer. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self or out is not within the supported range. The input parameter dim is outside the valid dimension range of self's shape [-self.dim, self.dim-1]. The dimension of the input self specified by dim is not divisible by 2. The shape of out is not equal to the shape of self split along dim. The dtype of out cannot be obtained by casting self. The number of dimensions of self or out is greater than 8. The number of dimensions of self is 0.
aclnnGlu
Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input Specifies the workspace memory address requested on the Device side. workspaceSize Input Specifies the workspace size requested on the Device side, which is obtained from the first-phase API aclnnGluGetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation process. stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution. Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnGlu defaults to a deterministic implementation.
