Function

  • Description: Performs exponentiation on each tensor in the input tensor list x, with the exponent being the tensor scale, corresponding to exponent in the corresponding formula.

  • Formula:

    x=[x0,x1,...xn−1]y=[y0,y1,...yn−1]x = [{x_0}, {x_1}, ... {x_{n-1}}]\\ y = [{y_0}, {y_1}, ... {y_{n-1}}]\\ yi=xiexponent(i=0,1,...n−1)y_i = {{x_i}}^{exponent} (i=0,1,...n-1)

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnForeachPowScalarGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the input parameters and calculate the required workspace size based on the computation process, and then call the "aclnnForeachPowScalar" API to perform the computation.

aclnnForeachPowScalarGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
x (aclTensorList*) Input Represents the base for the n-th power operation, corresponding to `x` in the formula.
    • Supports empty tensors.
    • All tensors in this parameter must have the same data type.
    FLOAT32, FLOAT16, INT32, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √
scalar (aclTensor*) Input Exponent for the power operation, corresponding to `exponent` in the corresponding formula.
    • Empty tensors are not supported.
    • The number of elements is 1.
    • The data type has a specific correspondence with the data type of the input parameter `x`:
      • When the data type of `x` is FLOAT32, FLOAT16, or INT32, the data type is the same as that of `x`.
      • When the data type of `x` is BFLOAT16, the data type supports FLOAT32.
    • The absolute value of the value must be less than or equal to (2^31-1).
    FLOAT32, FLOAT16, INT32 ND 0-8 √
out (aclTensorList*) Output Represents the output result of the power operation, corresponding to `y` in the formula.
    • Supports empty tensors.
    • All tensors in this parameter must have the same data type.
    • The data type and data format are the same as those of the input parameter `x`, and the shape size is greater than or equal to the shape size of the input parameter `x`.
    FLOAT32, FLOAT16, INT32, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √
workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - -
executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
  • Return Value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input x, scalar, or out is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data types of x, scalar, and out are not within the supported range.
The data types of x and out are inconsistent.
ACLNN_ERR_INNER_TILING_ERROR 561002 The shapes of x and out do not satisfy the constraints.
The data types of tensors in x or out are inconsistent.
A tensor in x or out has more than 8 dimensions.
The number of elements in scalar is not 1.

aclnnForeachPowScalar

executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation process.
stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution.
  • Return Value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnForeachPowScalar defaults to a deterministic implementation.
