Function

Backward computation of aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2d.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackwardGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackward" API to perform the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackwardGetWorkspaceSize(
  const aclTensor   *gradOutput,
  const aclTensor   *self,
  aclTensor         *out,
  uint64_t          *workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor     **executor)
aclnnStatus aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackward(
  void              *workspace,
  uint64_t          workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor     *executor,
  const aclrtStream stream)

aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackwardGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-Contiguous Tensor
    gradOutput Input The gradient of the current node. The data type is the same as self, and the NC dimensions are consistent with self. FLOAT32, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16 ND, NCHW, NCL 3-4 √
    self Input Leaf node. - FLOAT32, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16 ND, NCHW, NCL 3-4 √
    out Output Gradient corresponding to the input leaf node. - FLOAT32, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16 ND, NCHW, NCL 3-4 √
    workspaceSize Output Size of the workspace to be requested on the Device. - - - - -
    executor Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
    • Atlas inference products, Atlas training products: The data type of the parameters self and out does not support BFLOAT16.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

    The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed gradOutput or self is a null pointer.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type or data format of gradOutput or self is not within the supported range.
    The data types of gradOutput and self are inconsistent.
    The dimensions of gradOutput and self are inconsistent.
    The dimension of gradOutput or self is not 3 or 4.
    gradOutput or self is an empty tensor.
    The N and C dimensions are inconsistent.

aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackward

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
    workspace Input Workspace memory address applied for on the Device side.
    workspaceSize Input Workspace size applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackwardGetWorkspaceSize.
    executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
    stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnAdaptiveAvgPool2dBackward defaults to a non-deterministic implementation. You can enable deterministic computation by calling aclrtCtxSetSysParamOpt.
