Function
It must be used together with the aclnnCalculateMatmulWeightSize and aclnnCalculateMatmulWeightSizeV2 APIs to create a weight tensor that is performance-friendly for the Matmul operator computation. FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, and Int8 data types are supported.
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnTransMatmulWeightGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnTransMatmulWeight" API is called to perform the computation.

Parameters
Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor mmWeightRef Input Represents a weight tensor of Matmul to be processed. After this API, the tensor is refreshed into a preprocessed Matmul weight tensor, with its format converted to ND or a private format based on affinity. FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, INT8 ND 2-6 √ workspaceSize Output Returns the workspace size to be allocated on the Device side. - - - - - executor Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - - Atlas inference products ,Atlas training products : The mmWeightRef data type does not support BFLOAT16.
Return Value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:
Return Value Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input is a null pointer. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The dimension of the input tensor shape does not meet the requirement. The format of the input tensor does not meet the requirement. The data type of the input tensor does not meet the requirement. Empty tensor input is not supported.
aclnnTransMatmulWeight
Parameters
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side. workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnTransMatmulWeightGetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor that contains the operator computation flow. stream Input Specifies the stream that executes the task. Return Value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnTransMatmulWeight defaults to a deterministic implementation.
Does not support cache capability.
