Function

  • Description: Determines which elements in a tensor are infinite values, i.e., inf or -inf.

  • Formula:

    outi=(inputi==±inf)out_i=(input_i == ±inf)
  • Example:

    • If x = [9, 6, 3], the result of isinf(x) is [False, False, False].

    • If x = [[-3.14, inf], [2.7183, nan]], the result of isinf(x) is [[False, True], [False, False]].

    NOTE Integer types and Boolean types are bounded.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnIsInfGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnIsInf" API is called to perform the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnIsInfGetWorkspaceSize(
  const aclTensor *x,
  const aclTensor *out,
  uint64_t        *workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor  **executor)
aclnnStatus aclnnIsInf(
  void          *workspace,
  uint64_t       workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor *executor,
  aclrtStream    stream)

aclnnIsInfGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
    x Input The input parameter to be checked for Inf values, corresponding to input_i in the formula. - FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, BFLOAT16, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, BOOL ND 0-8 √
    out Output Output parameter to be checked for inf, corresponding to out_i in the formula. Same as the shape of x. BOOL ND 0-8 √
    workspaceSize Output Returns the workspace size to be requested on the Device side. - - - - -
    executor Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
    • Atlas training products: BFLOAT16 is not supported.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

    The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
    ACLNN_ERR_INNER_TILING_ERROR 561002 The dimension of x exceeds 8.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The parameters x and out are null pointers.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data types of parameters x and out are not within the supported range.
    The shapes of x and out are inconsistent.

aclnnIsInf

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
    workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side.
    workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnIsInfGetWorkspaceSize.
    executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
    stream Input Specifies the stream on which the task is executed.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnIsInf defaults to a deterministic implementation.
