Function

Computes the histogram of a tensor. Uses min and max as the statistical bounds, divides the range between min and max into bins of equal width, and counts the number of elements in the tensor self that fall into each bin. If min and max are equal, the minimum and maximum values of all elements in the tensor are used as the statistical bounds. Elements smaller than min or greater than max are not counted.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnHistcGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnHistc" API is called to perform the computation.

  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input self, out, min, or max is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type or data format of self and out is not within the supported range.
The data types of self and out do not satisfy the deduction relationship.
The input bins is less than or equal to 0.
The input min is greater than max.
The shape dimension of out is not 1.
The shape dimension of self is greater than 8.
The size of out is not equal to bins.

aclnnHistc

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Address of the workspace memory allocated on the device side.
workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace allocated on the device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnHistcGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
stream Input Specifies the stream that executes the task.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnHistc defaults to a deterministic implementation.
