MEF Center and MEF Edge Fail to Configure the NMS

Symptom

MEF Center and MEF Edge fail to run NMS configuration commands. The following information is displayed:

Execute [netconfig] command failed!

Solution

  1. Open the run log generated during MEF Edge installation and deployment (the default path is /var/alog/MEFEdge_log/edge_installer/edge_installer_run.log).
  2. Check the cause of the NMS configuration failure in the log.
    • If information similar to the following is displayed, check whether the token is correct:
      token is incorrect
      https return error status code: 401
      If the token authentication fails for more than five times (including the test times of test_connect), MEF Center locks the authentication for 5 minutes. Wait for 5 minutes and enter the correct token.
      ip is lock
      https return error status code: 423
    • If other errors occur, check the network connectivity between MEF Center and MEF Edge or check whether other parameters in the NMS configuration are correct.
  3. Perform interconnection authentication again between MEF Center and MEF Edge. For details, see Interconnection Authentication of MEF Center and MEF Edge.
