Overview

The ascend-cert tool verifies software package data signatures and compares and updates CRLs to ensure security of software packages and validity of CRL files.

• Before using the ascend-cert tool, ensure that the OpenSSL that meets the security requirements of your organization has been installed in the local environment. The OpenSSL version must be 1.1 or later. If the version does not meet the requirements, upgrade it.
• The ascend-cert tool cannot be used concurrently by one user on multiple terminals.
