Restrictions
- The Ascend-DMI tool provides the following functions: bandwidth test, computing power test, power consumption test, real-time device status query, fault diagnosis, software and hardware version compatibility test, driver and firmware version compatibility test, and device topology detection. For details about the tool functions, see Table 1. For details about the supported scenarios, see Table 1.

Not supported
- If the OS is Kylin V10, the Atlas 300I inference card (model 3010) does not support device topology detection or display of processor details.
- When the Profiling tool is used to collect profile data, the Ascend-DMI tool is unavailable.
- When the driver is installed on the Atlas 200I SoC A1 core board in default mode, only the root and HwHiAiUser users can use the ascend-dmi tool. If other non-root users need to use this tool, use the parameter in "Reference > Commands > Common Commands" in the Atlas 200I SoC A1 Core Board 6.0.0 NPU Driver and Firmware Installation Guide.
- On the Atlas 200 AI accelerator module (RC), only the root and HwHiAiUser users can use the ascend-dmi tool without passwords. For other users, passwords are required.
