Environment Requirements
When MindStudio is installed on a Windows server, the Windows server is the local environment, while a Linux server is used as the remote environment.
Local Environment Requirements
Windows 10 x86_64
Installing Dependencies on a Local PC
- Python (versions 3.7 to 3.9)
- MinGW
- CMake
- ACLlib (optional, for developing Windows applications on Windows industrial computers)

Configuring the Remote Environment
- Remote Ascend AI devices in co-deployment mode: Refer to the CANN Software Installation Guide to deploy the Ascend AI devices.
- Remote pure development environment in separate deployment mode:
- Configure the MindStudio environment based on the version of the remote Linux server. For details, see Preparing an Installation User, Installing Dependencies, and Configuring the Compilation Environment.
- Install the Ascend-CANN-Toolkit by following instructions in the CANN Software Installation Guide.
