Installation Scheme (Windows)
MindStudio can be independently installed on Windows. Before the MindStudio installation, you need to install and deploy Ascend-CANN-Toolkit on a Linux server, and then install MindStudio on Windows. After the installation is complete, configure the remote connection mode to establish a connection between the Windows server where MindStudio is located and the Linux server where Ascend-CANN-Toolkit is located to implement full-pipeline development.
Development and Operating Scenario (Co-Deployment Mode)
In this scenario, MindStudio is installed on a Windows server. For details about how to install the driver, firmware, Ascend-CANN-Toolkit, and AI framework packages on an Ascend AI device, see the CANN Software Installation Guide.
Pure Development Scenario (Separate Deployment Mode)
In this scenario, MindStudio is installed on a Windows server, and Ascend-CANN-Toolkit is installed in a pure development environment. After the server is connected with the environment, a pure development environment integrated with MindStudio has been set up. For details about how to set up an operating environment on an Ascend AI device, see the CANN Software Installation Guide. In this scenario, the operating environment is usually a device or edge device such as the Atlas 500 and Atlas 200 DK AI Developer Kit.
