Installing the NPU Driver, Firmware, and CANN

Vision SDK requires the npu-driver package, npu-firmware package, and CANN package. For details, see Table 1.

Once you download software, you agree to the terms and conditions of Huawei Enterprise End User License Agreement (EULA).

Install the NPU driver and firmware by referring to "Installing the NPU Driver and Firmware" in CANN Software Installation Guide (Commercial Edition) or "Installing the NPU Driver and Firmware" in CANN Software Installation Guide (Community Edition).
Install CANN by referring to "Installing CANN" in CANN Software Installation Guide (commercial edition) or "Installing CANN" in CANN Software Installation Guide (community edition).
- The user for installing CANN and Vision SDK must be the same. A common user is recommended.
- When installing CANN, install its dependencies to ensure that Vision SDK can be used properly.
- The running of Vision SDK depends on the dynamic library file of CANN. Ensure that the files in the CANN installation path are valid and not tampered with.
