Error -8005 Reported During Stream Test When No CDR NIC Is Installed on the NPU

Symptom

During the stream test, the number of bit errors reaches the upper limit (67092480), and the dcmi_prbs_operate API returns -8005, as shown in the following figure.

Possible Causes

Run the hccn_tool -i ${NPU ID} -optical -g command and check the present field. If the following information is displayed, the CDR NIC is not inserted into the corresponding NPU of the server. As a result, the adaptation link setup fails.

Solution

Configure the CDR NIC and ensure that the optical module runs properly.
