Function
Operator function: Computes the tangent of each element in the input tensor
selfand stores the result in the output tensorout.Formula:
Example:
Input self: tensor([[1, 2], [3, 4]]) Output out: tensor([[ 1.5574, -2.1850], [-0.1425, 1.1578]])
Prototype
aclnnTanandaclnnInplaceTanimplement the same function in different ways. Select a proper operator based on your requirements.aclnnTan: An output tensor object needs to be created to store the computation result.aclnnInplaceTan: No output tensor object needs to be created, and the computation result is stored in the memory of the input tensor.
Each operator has two-phase API calls. First,
aclnnTanGetWorkspaceSizeoraclnnInplaceTanGetWorkspaceSizeis called to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process. Then, aclnnTanoraclnnInplaceTanis called to perform computation.aclnnStatus aclnnTanGetWorkspaceSize(const aclTensor *self, aclTensor *out,uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)aclnnStatus aclnnTan(void* workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor* executor, const aclrtStream stream)aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceTanGetWorkspaceSize(const aclTensor *selfRef, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceTan(void* workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor* executor, const aclrtStream stream)
aclnnTanGetWorkspaceSize
Parameter Description:

The shape dimension must be less than or equal to 8, and must be the same as that ofout. The data type must meet the type deduction rules without.Atlas inference products andAtlas training products : The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, BOOL, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products andAtlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products : The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, BOOL, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, or BFLOAT16.
out(aclTensor*, computation output):outin the formula. Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format can be ND. The shape must be the same as that ofself. The first-phase API implements input parameter verification. The following errors may be thrown:
161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed self or out is a null pointer.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type of self is not supported and cannot be converted to that of out.
2. The data types of self and out do not meet the type deduction rules.
3. The dimension of self or out is greater than 8.
4. The shapes of self and out are inconsistent.aclnnTan

Restrictions
- Deterministic computation:
aclnnTanandaclnnInplaceTandefault to deterministic implementation.Atlas inference products andAtlas training products : The input values of the FLOAT, FLOAT16, INT32, and INT64 data types must be within the range of [-65504, 65504] to meet precision requirements. If this range is exceeded, precision is not guaranteed and you are advised to use the CPU for computation.Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products andAtlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products : The input values of the FLOAT, BFLOAT16, FLOAT16, INT32, and INT64 data types must be within the range of [-65504, 65504] to meet precision requirements. If this range is exceeded, precision is not guaranteed and you are advised to use the CPU for computation. Excessive computation load may cause the operator to time out (AI Core error, errorStr: "timeout or trap error"). This typically occurs when the product of the last two dimensions is less than 16 while the product of the leading dimensions is excessively large.
