Function

  • Operator function: Computes the opposite number of each input element.
  • Formula:outputi=(−1)∗selfioutput_i = (-1) * self_i

Prototype

  • aclnnNeg and aclnnInplaceNeg implement the same function in different ways. Select a proper operator based on your requirements.

    • aclnnNeg: An output tensor object needs to be created to store the computation result.
    • aclnnInplaceNeg: No output tensor object needs to be created, and the computation result is stored in the memory of the input tensor.
  • Each operator has two-phase API calls. First, aclnnNegGetWorkspaceSize or aclnnInplaceNegGetWorkspaceSize is called to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process. Then, aclnnNeg or aclnnInplaceNeg is called to perform computation.

    • aclnnStatus aclnnNegGetWorkspaceSize(const aclTensor *self, aclTensor *out, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnNeg(void *workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor *executor, const aclrtStream stream)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceNegGetWorkspaceSize(aclTensor *selfRef, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceNeg(void *workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor *executor, aclrtStream stream)

aclnnNegGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

    • self (aclTensor*, computation input): aclTensor on the device. Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format can be ND.
      • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products and Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products: INT8, INT32, INT64, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, FLOAT32, DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.
      • Atlas 200I/500 A2 inference products and Atlas training products: INT8, INT32, INT64, FLOAT16, FLOAT32, DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.
    • out (aclTensor*, computation output): aclTensor on the device. The data type of out must be convertible from that of self (see Reference Description). Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format supports ND.
    • workspaceSize (uint64_t*, computation output): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device.
    • executor (aclOpExecutor**, computation output): operator executor, which contains the operator computation process.
  • Returns:

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API implements input parameter verification. The following errors may be thrown.
161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed self or out is a null pointer.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type of self or out is not supported.
                                  2. The data types of self and out cannot be converted.
                                  3. The shape of self is different from that of out.

aclnnNeg

  • Parameters:

    • workspace (void*, computation input): address of the workspace to be allocated on the device.

    • executor (aclOpExecutor*, computation input): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.
    • stream (aclrtStream, computation input): stream for executing the task.
  • Returns:

    • workspaceSize (uint64_t*, computation output): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device.
    • executor (aclOpExecutor**, computation output): operator executor, which contains the operator computation process.
  • Returns:

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API implements input parameter verification. The following errors may be thrown.
161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed selfRef is a null pointer.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type of selfRef is not supported.
                                  2. The dimensions of selfRef are greater than 8.

    • executor (aclOpExecutor*, computation input): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.
    • stream (aclrtStream, computation input): stream for executing the task.
  • Returns:

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computing:
    • aclnnNeg&aclnnInplaceNeg defaults to a deterministic implementation.
