Function

Description: Computes the element-wise logical OR operation of a given input tensor. When the two input tensors are of the non-Boolean type, 0 is considered as False and a non-zero value is considered as True.

Prototype

  • aclnnLogicalOr and aclnnInplaceLogicalOr implement the same function in different ways. Select a proper operator based on your requirements.

    • aclnnLogicalOr: An output tensor object needs to be created to store the computation result.
    • aclnnInplaceLogicalOr: No output tensor object needs to be created, and the computation result is stored in the memory of the input tensor.
  • Each operator has two-phase API calls. First, aclnnLogicalOrGetWorkspaceSize or aclnnInplaceLogicalOrGetWorkspaceSize is called to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process. Then, aclnnLogicalOr or aclnnInplaceLogicalOr is called to perform computation.

    • aclnnStatus aclnnLogicalOrGetWorkspaceSize(const aclTensor *self, const aclTensor *other, aclTensor *out, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnLogicalOr(void *workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor *executor, aclrtStream stream)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceLogicalOrGetWorkspaceSize(aclTensor *selfRef, const aclTensor *other, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceLogicalOr(void *workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor *executor, aclrtStream stream)

aclnnLogicalOrGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

    • self (aclTensor*, compute input): aclTensor on the device. The shape supports 0 to 8 dimensions and must meet the broadcast relationship with other. Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format supports ND.
      • Atlas inference products and Atlas training products: The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, INT32, INT64, INT16, INT8, UINT8, BOOL, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.
      • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products and Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products: The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, DOUBLE, INT32, INT64, INT16, INT8, UINT8, BOOL, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.
    • other (aclTensor*, compute input): aclTensor on the device. The shape supports 0 to 8 dimensions and must meet the broadcast relationship with self. Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format supports ND.
      • Atlas inference products and Atlas training products: The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, INT32, INT64, INT16, INT8, UINT8, BOOL, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.

    • out (aclTensor *, compute output): aclTensor on the device. The shape supports 0 to 8 dimensions and must be the shape after self and other are broadcast.
    • workspaceSize (uint64_t *, output): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device.
    • executor (aclOpExecutor **, output): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.
  • Returns:

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API implements input parameter verification. The following errors may be thrown:
161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed self, other, and out are null pointers.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type of self, other, or out is not supported.
