Function Description

  • Description: Computes the logarithm of the input with base 10.
  • Formula:outputi=log10(selfi)output_{i}=log_{10}(self_{i}) selfRefi=log10(selfRefi)selfRef_i = log_{10}(selfRef_i)

Function Prototype

  • aclnnLog10 and aclnnInplaceLog10 implement the same function in different ways. Select a proper operator based on your requirements.

    • aclnnLog10: An output tensor object needs to be created to store the computation result.
    • aclnnInplaceLog10: No output tensor object needs to be created, and the computation result is stored in the memory of the input tensor.
  • Each operator has two-phase API calls. First, aclnnLog10GetWorkspaceSize or aclnnInplaceLog10GetWorkspaceSize is called to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process. Then, aclnnLog10 or aclnnInplaceLog10 is called to perform computation.

    • aclnnStatus aclnnLog10GetWorkspaceSize(const aclTensor *self, aclTensor *out, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnLog10(void *workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor *executor, aclrtStream stream)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceLog10GetWorkspaceSize(aclTensor *selfRef, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceLog10(void *workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor *executor, aclrtStream stream)

aclnnLog10GetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

    • self (aclTensor*, compute input): self in the formula, which is an aclTensor on the device. Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format supports ND.
      • Atlas inference products and Atlas training products: The data type can be DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, BOOL, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, FLOAT, or FLOAT16.
      • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products and Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products: The data type can be DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, BOOL, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, FLOAT, FLOAT16, and BFLOAT16.
    • out (aclTensor*, output): out in the formula, which is an aclTensor on the device. If self is of an integer or Boolean type, out must be of the FLOAT type. For other types, out must be of the same dtype as self. The data shape is the same as that of self. The data format supports ND.
      • Atlas inference products and Atlas training products: The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.
      • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products and Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products: The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.
    • workspaceSize (uint64_t*, output): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device.
    • executor (aclOpExecutor**, output): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.
  • Returns:

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API implements input parameter verification. The following errors may be thrown.
161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed self or out is a null pointer.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type and format of self and out are not supported.
                                     2. The data type of the computation result cannot be converted to the type of out.
                                     3. The dimensions of self or out are greater than 8.

aclnnLog10

    • executor (aclOpExecutor*, input): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.
    • stream (aclrtStream, input): stream for executing the task.
  • Returns:

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed selfRef is a null pointer.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type and data format of selfRef are not supported.

aclnnInplaceLog10

  • Parameters:

    • workspace (void*, input): address of the workspace to be allocated on the device.
    • workspaceSize (uint64_t, input): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device, which is obtained by calling the first-phase API aclnnInplaceLog10GetWorkspaceSize.
    • executor (aclOpExecutor*, input): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.
    • stream (aclrtStream, input): stream for executing the task.
  • Returns:

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:
    • aclnnLog10 and aclnnInplaceLog10 default to deterministic implementation.
