Function Description
Description: Computes natural logarithms.
Formula:
Function Prototype
aclnnLogandaclnnInplaceLogimplement the same function in different ways. Select a proper operator based on your requirements.aclnnLog: An output tensor object needs to be created to store the computation result.aclnnInplaceLog: No output tensor object needs to be created, and the computation result is stored in the memory of the input tensor.
Each operator has two-phase API calls. First,
aclnnLogGetWorkspaceSizeoraclnnInplaceLogGetWorkspaceSizeis called to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process. Then, aclnnLogoraclnnInplaceLogis called to perform computation.aclnnStatus aclnnLogGetWorkspaceSize(const aclTensor *self, aclTensor *out, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)aclnnStatus aclnnLog(void* workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor* executor, aclrtStream stream)aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceLogGetWorkspaceSize(aclTensor* selfRef, uint64_t* workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor** executor)aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceLog(void* workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor* executor, aclrtStream stream)
aclnnLogGetWorkspaceSize
Parameters:
self(aclTensor*, compute input): aclTensor on the device. It supports 1 to 8 dimensions. Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format supports ND.Atlas training products : The data type can be BOOL, INT64, INT32, INT16, INT8, UINT8, FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products andAtlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products : The data type can be BOOL, INT64, INT32, INT16, INT8, UINT8, FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, or BFLOAT16.
out(aclTensor*, compute output): aclTensor on the device. It supports 1 to 8 dimensions. If self is a complex number, out must be a complex number. The data format supports ND.Atlas training products : The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, or COMPLEX128.Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products andAtlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products : The data type can be FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, or BFLOAT16.
workspaceSize(uint64_t*, output): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device.executor(aclOpExecutor**, output): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.
Returns:
aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes. The first-phase API implements input parameter verification. The following errors may be thrown. 161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed self and out are null pointers. 161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type or format of self or out is not supported. 2. The data type of the computation result cannot be converted to the type of out. 3. The shape of self is different from that of out. 4. The dimensions of self and out are greater than 8.
aclnnLog
Parameters:
workspace(void *, input): address of the workspace memory allocated on the device.workspaceSize(uint64_t, input): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device, which is obtained by calling first-phase APIaclnnLogGetWorkspaceSize.executor(aclOpExecutor *, input): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.stream(aclrtStream, input): stream for executing the task.
Returns:
aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
aclnnInplaceLogGetWorkspaceSize
Parameters:
selfRef(aclTensor*, compute input | compute output): self and output in the formula. It supports 1 to 8 dimensions. Non-contiguous tensors are supported.
The passed selfRef is a null pointer.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type of selfRef is not supported.
2. The dimension of selfRef exceeds eight.aclnnInplaceLog
Parameters:
workspace(void*, input): address of the workspace to be allocated on the device.workspaceSize(uint64_t, input): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device, which is obtained by calling first-phase APIaclnnInplaceLogGetWorkspaceSize.executor(aclOpExecutor*, input): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.stream(aclrtStream, input): stream for executing the task.
Returns:
aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
Constraints
- Deterministic computation:
aclnnLogandaclnnInplaceLogdefault to deterministic implementation.
If the input shape exceeds 1000000, the operator execution may time out (AI Core error, errorStr: timeout or trap error). This occurs when the last two axes multiplied are less than 16 and the first axes multiplied are too large.
