Function

  • Description: Limits all input elements within the range of [min, inf].

  • Formula:

    yi=max(xi,min_valuei){y}_{i} = max({{x}_{i}},{min\_value}_{i})

Prototype

  • aclnnClampMinTensor and aclnnInplaceClampMinTensor implement the same function in different ways. Select a proper operator based on your requirements.

    • aclnnClampMinTensor: An output tensor object needs to be created to store the computation result.
    • aclnnInplaceClampMinTensor: No output tensor object needs to be created, and the computation result is stored in the memory of the input tensor.
  • Each operator has two-phase API calls. First, aclnnClampMinTensorGetWorkspaceSize or aclnnInplaceClampMinTensorGetWorkspaceSize is called to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process. Then, aclnnClampMinTensor or aclnnInplaceClampMinTensor is called to perform computation.

    • aclnnStatus aclnnClampMinTensorGetWorkspaceSize(const aclTensor* self, const aclTensor* clipValueMin, aclTensor* out, uint64_t* workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor** executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnClampMinTensor(void* workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor* executor, const aclrtStream stream)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceClampMinTensorGetWorkspaceSize(aclTensor* selfRef, const aclTensor* clipValueMin, uint64_t *workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor **executor)
    • aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceClampMinTensor(void* workspace, uint64_t workspaceSize, aclOpExecutor* executor, const aclrtStream stream)

The shape must be broadcastable with that of self (see Broadcast Relationship). Non-contiguous tensors are supported. The data format can be ND.

      • Atlas training products: The data type can be FLOAT16, FLOAT, FLOAT64, INT8, UINT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, or BOOL.
      • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products and Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products: The data type can be FLOAT16, FLOAT, FLOAT64, INT8, UINT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, BFLOAT16, or BOOL.

      • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products and Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products: The data type can be FLOAT16, FLOAT, FLOAT64, INT8, UINT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, or BFLOAT16. The data type must be the same as that of self and must be convertible from the deduced data type of self and clipValueMin.
    • workspaceSize (uint64_t*, output): size of the workspace to be allocated on the device.

    • executor (aclOpExecutor**, output): operator executor, containing the operator computation process.

  • Returns

aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API implements input parameter validation. The following error codes may be returned:
161001 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR): 1. The passed self or out is a null pointer, or min is a null pointer.
161002 (ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID): 1. The data type or format of self or out is not supported.
                                   2. The data type deduction of self and clipValueMin failed, or the deduced type cannot be converted to the type of out.
