HI_MIPI_RESET_SENSOR

Description

Resets a sensor.

Prototype

#define HI_MIPI_RESET_SENSOR _IOW(HI_MIPI_IOC_MAGIC, 0x05, sns_rst_source_t)

Parameters

  • HI_MIPI_IOC_MAGIC: magic number of the MIPI RX ioctl command.
    #define HI_MIPI_IOC_MAGIC 'm'
  • 0x05: indicates the command word function and resets the sensor.
  • sns_rst_source_t: ID of the sensor reset signal cable.

Returns

  • 0: success
  • -1: failure

Considerations

Some sensors have requirements on the reset time. You can add a delay before the reset is deasserted.
