Function Usage

Obtains the attributes of a decoding channel.

The Atlas 200/300/500 Inference Product does not support this API in the current version.

The Atlas Training Series Product does not support this API in the current version.

Input Description

chn: int, decoding channel ID.

  • Atlas Inference Series Product (Ascend 310P Processor): The value range of this parameter is [0, 256). The JPEGD and VDEC functions share the same channels, and the maximum number of channels is 256.
  • Atlas A2 Training Series Product: The value range of this parameter is [0, 256). The JPEGD and VDEC functions share a maximum of 256 channels. Among them, a maximum of 256 JPEGD decoding channels and 32 VDEC decoding channels are supported.
  • Atlas 200/500 A2 Inference Product: The value range of this parameter is [0, 128). The JPEGD and VDEC functions share the same channels, and the maximum number of channels is 128.

Return Value

ret: int, error code.

attr: dict, dictionary of the decoding channel attributes. For details, see hi_vdec_chn_attr.

Restrictions

Ensure that a channel has been created. Otherwise, the error code HI_ERR_VDEC_UNEXIST is returned.
