Confirming Main Chip Specifications

Check whether the following specifications are supported:

• Master and slave modes
• Linear and WDR modes
• Upper limit of input frequency
• Minimum and maximum resolutions
• Number of supported lanes
• Raw image bit depth
• Raw image types

Sensor Data Sheet

Confirm the following items with the sensor vendor:

• Sensor register configuration mode (I²C or SPI) and sensor functionalities
• Interface mode and output frequency for image transmission
• Exposure time and gain setting method, and frame rate modification method
• Preceding two items in WDR mode
• Synchronization code for the LVDS interface

Initialization Settings

Obtain the sensor initialization settings from the sensor vendor. Generally, at least the maximum specification and standard resolution are required.
