Performance Specifications

For Atlas training products, this function is not supported in the current version.

Performance Specifications

This section uses a single Ascend AI Processor as an example to describe the performance indicators in basic scenarios. The performance indicators of other resolutions can be estimated in the same way.

1080p indicates a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. 4K indicates a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. In single-device scenarios, the performance specifications are as follows (one channel corresponds to one thread):

The following table lists the performance reference data on Ascend 950PR/Ascend 950DT, Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products, Atlas 200I/500 A2 inference products, and Atlas inference products.

Scenario

Total Frame Rate

n-channel 1080p (1 ≤ n ≤ 5)

n * 4fps

n-channel 1080p (n ≥ 6)

24fps

n-channel 4K (1 ≤ n ≤ 5)

n * 1fps

n-channel 4K (n ≥ 6)

6fps

The following table lists the performance specifications on the Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products. On the Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products, an NPU has two devices, and the maximum specifications can be reached only when the two devices work in parallel.

Scenario

Total Frame Rate

n-channel 1080p (1 ≤ n ≤ 11)

n*4fps

n-channel 1080p (n ≥ 12)

48fps

n-channel 4K (1 ≤ n ≤ 11)

n*1fps

n-channel 4K (n > 12)

12fps
