Function Usage

Obtains the difference between two inputs. If the difference is less than 0, 0 is returned.

The difference between two inputs. If the difference is less than 0, 0 is returned.

  • If either x or y is nan, the return value is nan.
  • If x is inf and y is -inf, the return value is inf.
  • If x is -inf and y is inf, the return value is 0.
  • If x is inf and y is inf, the return value is 0.

Restrictions

For SIMT programming, this API is not supported.

To use this API, the simt_api/math_functions.h header file must be included.
