Function

  • Description: Repeats each element in the tensor along the specified dimension by the corresponding number of times specified in repeats.

  • Example:

Assume the input tensor is ([[a, b], [c, d], [e, f]]), repeats is 2, and dim is 0. The resulting tensor is [[a, b], [a, b], [c, d], [c, d], [e, f], [e, f]]. Along dimension 0, the corresponding a and b are repeated twice, c and d are repeated twice, and e and f are repeated twice. The computation must satisfy the following requirement: outputSize = size of the dim dimension of self * value of repeats.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnRepeatInterleaveIntWithDimGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnRepeatInterleaveIntWithDim" API to perform the computation.

aclnnRepeatInterleaveIntWithDimGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
self (aclTensor*) Input The input tensor to be replicated in the function. Supports empty tensors. UINT8, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, BOOL, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, FLOAT ND 1-8 √
repeats (int64_t) Input Number of repetitions. The value of repeats must be non-negative. - - - -
    dim (int64_t) Input Specifies the dimension along which to repeat. The value range is [-self.dim(), self.dim() - 1]. - - - -

out (aclTensor*) Output Output tensor after data replication as described in Function. The data type must be the same as self.
The number of dimensions in the shape is the same as self. The size of out in the dim dimension equals repeats * the size of self in the dim dimension.
    UINT8, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, BOOL, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, FLOAT ND 1-8 √
workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device. - - - - -
executor(aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 self or out is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self is not within the supported range.
The data types of self and out are different.
repeats is not a natural number.
The value of dim is not within the range of [-number of dimensions of self, number of dimensions of self - 1].
The number of dimensions of self exceeds 8.
dim is not supported when self is 0-dimensional.

aclnnRepeatInterleaveIntWithDim

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side.
workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnRepeatInterleaveIntWithDimGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Op executor that contains the operator computation flow.
stream Input Specifies the stream that executes the task.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnRepeatInterleaveIntWithDim defaults to a deterministic implementation.
  • Other constraints: The following condition must be met during computation: outputSize = size of the dim dimension of self * value of repeats.
