Function

Copies elements from source to the positions in selfRef where the corresponding elements in the mask tensor are True.

Function Prototype

Each operator uses a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnInplaceMaskedScatterGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnInplaceMaskedScatter" API to perform the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceMaskedScatterGetWorkspaceSize(
 aclTensor* selfRef,
 const aclTensor*   mask,
 const aclTensor*   source,
 uint64_t* workspaceSize,
 aclOpExecutor** executor)
aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceMaskedScatter(
 void* workspace,
 uint64_t workspaceSize,
 aclOpExecutor* executor,
 aclrtStream stream)

aclnnInplaceMaskedScatterGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Shape Non-contiguous Tensor
    selfRef Input Input tensor. - FLOAT、FLOAT16、DOUBLE、INT8、INT16、INT32、INT64、UINT8、BOOL、BFLOAT16 ND - √
mask Input Input tensor. The shape must not be larger than selfRef and must satisfy the broadcast relationship with selfRef. BOOL, UINT8 ND - -
source Input The input tensor. The number of elements must be greater than or equal to the number of elements in mask that are true. Same as selfRef. ND - -
workspaceSize Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - -
executor Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
  • Return Value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 Indicates that selfRef, mask, or source is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data types of selfRef and mask are not within the supported range.
The shapes of selfRef and mask cannot be broadcast.
The dimension of mask's shape is greater than that of selfRef.
The data type of source differs from that of selfRef.

  • Parameters

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side.
workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnInplaceMaskedScatterGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution.
  • Return Value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnInplaceMaskedScatter defaults to a deterministic implementation.
