Function

  • Description: An activation function that returns an output tensor with the same shape as the input tensor. When the input value is less than -3, it returns 0; when greater than 3, it returns the value; otherwise, it returns the value plus 3, multiplied by the value, and then divided by 6.

  • Formula:

    Hardswish(x)={x,x>30,x≤−3x⋅(x+3)6,otherwiseHardswish(x)=\begin{cases} x, & x\gt3 \\ 0, & x\le -3 \\ \frac{x · (x + 3)}{6}, & otherwise \end{cases}

Function Prototype

  • aclnnHardswish and aclnnInplaceHardswish implement the same functionality. The differences are as follows. Select the appropriate operator based on your actual scenario.

    • aclnnHardswish: Requires creating a new output tensor object to store the computation result.

    • aclnnInplaceHardswish: Does not require creating a new output tensor object. The computation result is stored directly in the memory of the input tensor.

  • Each operator uses a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnHardswishGetWorkspaceSize" or "aclnnInplaceHardswishGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnHardswish" or "aclnnInplaceHardswish" API to perform the computation.

aclnnHardswishGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
self (aclTensor*) Input Represents the input tensor of the activation function, i.e., the input x in the formula.
    • Supports empty tensors.
    • The data type of self must be convertible to the data type of out (see Conversion Relationship).
    BFLOAT16, FLOAT16, FLOAT32 ND 0-8 √
out (aclTensor*) Output Represents the output tensor of the activation function, i.e., the output Hardswish in the formula. The data type of out must be convertible to the data type of self (see Conversion Relationship). BFLOAT16, FLOAT16, FLOAT32 ND 0-8 √
workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - -
executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
    • Atlas training products: The supported data types are FLOAT16 and FLOAT32.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed self or out is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type or data format of self or out is not within the supported range.
The shape of self is inconsistent with the shape of the output out.
The data types of self and out do not satisfy the conversion relationship.
