Function

  • Description: Performs a norm operation on each tensor in the input tensor list.

  • Formula:

    • Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products, Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products:

      x=[x0,x1,...xn−1]x = [{x_0}, {x_1}, ... {x_{n-1}}]\\ y=(∑i=0n−1∣xi∣p)1p(i=0,1,...n−1)y = \left(\sum_{i=0}^{n-1}|x_i|^{p}\right)^{\frac{1}{{p}}} (i=0,1,...n-1)
    • Ascend 950PR/Ascend 950DT:

      x=[x0,x1,...xn−1]x = [{x_0}, {x_1}, ... {x_{n-1}}]\\
      • scalar = +Inf:

        y=max⁡∣xi∣y = \max|x_i|
      • int(scalar) = 1:

        y=∑i=0n−1∣xi∣y = \sum_{i=0}^{n-1}|x_i|
      • other:

        y=(∑i=0n−1∣xi∣2)12y = \left(\sum_{i=0}^{n-1}|x_i|^{2}\right)^{\frac{1}{{2}}}

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnForeachNormGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the input parameters and calculate the required workspace size based on the computation process, and then call the "aclnnForeachNorm" API to perform the computation.

  • Return Value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

    The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input x, scalar, or out is a null pointer.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of x, scalar, or out is not within the supported range.
    The data type of x is inconsistent with that of out.
    ACLNN_ERR_INNER_TILING_ERROR 561002 The shape size of out is not 1.
    The data types of tensors in x or out are inconsistent.
    The dimension of a tensor in x or out exceeds 8.

aclnnForeachNorm

    executor Input Operator executor that contains the operator computation flow.
    stream Input Specifies the stream that executes the task.
  • Return Value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:
