Function

  • Description: For the input data self, performs fake quantization on the input self along the specified axis using scale and zero_point, updates the value range of the fake quantization output based on quant_min and quant_max, and finally returns the result out and the corresponding position mask.

  • Formula: First compute the temporary variable qval based on the operator function, then compute out and mask.

    • The data type of zero_point is int32.
    qval=Round(std::nearby_int(self/scale)+zero_point)qval = Round(std::nearby\_int(self / scale) + zero\_point)
    • The data type of zero_point is float16 or float32.
    qval=std::lrintf(self/scale+zero_point)qval = std::lrintf(self / scale + zero\_point) out=(Min(quant_max,Max(quant_min,qval))−zero_point)∗scaleout = (Min(quant\_max, Max(quant\_min, qval)) - zero\_point) * scale mask=(qval>=quant_min)&(qval<=quant_max)mask = (qval >= quant\_min) \& (qval <= quant\_max)

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnFakeQuantPerChannelAffineCachemaskGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the input parameters and calculate the required workspace size based on the process, and then call the "aclnnFakeQuantPerChannelAffineCachemask" API to perform the computation.

  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

    The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input self, scale, zeroPoint, out, or mask is a null pointer.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self, scale, zeroPoint, out, or mask is not within the supported range.
    The shape of out or mask is inconsistent with that of self.
    The shape of scale or zeroPoint is not 1-dimensional.
    The sizes of scale and zeroPoint are inconsistent.
    The dimension specified by axis is not within the valid range [-self.dim(), self.dim()-1].
    The size of scale or zeroPoint is inconsistent with the size of self on the axis dimension.
    quantMin is greater than quantMax.

aclnnFakeQuantPerChannelAffineCachemask

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
    workspace Input Memory address of the workspace applied on the Device side.
    workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied on the Device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnFakeQuantPerChannelAffineCachemaskGetWorkspaceSize.
    executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
    stream Input Specifies the stream that executes the task.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Code.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnFakeQuantPerChannelAffineCachemask defaults to a deterministic implementation.
  • The current new operator FakeQuantPerChannelAffineCachemask does not support float32 and float16 inputs for zero_point. Therefore, this is intercepted inside the aclnn API for now, and the restriction will be lifted once the operator supports it.
