Function

  • Description: The AdaLayerNorm operator fuses LayerNorm with downstream Add and Mul operations, and adjusts the normalization process through adaptive parameters scale and shift.

  • Formula:

    out=LayerNorm(x)∗(1+scale)+shiftout = LayerNorm(x) * (1 + scale) + shift

    LayerNorm formula:

    LayerNorm(x)=x−E(x)Var(x)+epsilon∗weightOptional+biasOptionalLayerNorm(x) = {{x-E(x)}\over\sqrt {Var(x)+epsilon}} * weightOptional + biasOptional

    Where E(x) represents the mean of the input, and Var(x) represents the variance of the input.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnAdaLayerNormGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnAdaLayerNorm" API is called to perform the computation.
