Function

  • Description: Returns the product of each row of the input tensor along a given dimension.

  • Formula:

    out=โˆi=0Sdimโˆ’1self[...,โ€‰i,โ€‰...]out = \prod_{i=0}^{S_{dim}-1} self_{[..., \, i, \, ...]}

Where SdimS_{dim} is the size of self along dimension dimdim, dimdim is the specified reduction dimension, and keepDimkeepDim controls whether the output retains this dimension.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnProdDimGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnProdDim" API is called to perform the computation.

workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - -
executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation process. - - - - -
    • Atlas inference products and Atlas training products: The BFLOAT16 data type is not supported.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed self or out is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self is not within the supported range.
The shape of self or out exceeds 8 dimensions.
The data type of self cannot be converted to the data type of dtype.
The value of dim is out of range.
The data types of dtype and out are inconsistent.

aclnnProdDim

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Memory address of the workspace applied for on the Device side.
workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained by the first-phase API aclnnProdDimGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Operator executor that contains the operator computation process.
stream Input Specifies the Stream for executing the task.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnProdDim defaults to a deterministic implementation.
