Function

  • Description: Returns the product of all elements in the input tensor.

  • Formula:

    out=โˆi=0nโˆ’1selfiout = \prod_{i=0}^{n-1} self_i

Where nn is the total number of elements in self, and selfiself_i is the ii-th element in self.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnProdGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnProd" API is called to perform the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnProdGetWorkspaceSize(
  const aclTensor* self,
  const aclDataType dtype,
  aclTensor*        out,
  uint64_t*         workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor**   executor)
aclnnStatus aclnnProd(
  void*          workspace,
  uint64_t       workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor* executor,
  aclrtStream    stream)

aclnnProdGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
    self (aclTensor*) Input Input tensor. When the input is an empty tensor, the output type cannot be complex types COMPLEX64 or COMPLEX128. FLOAT16, FLOAT, DOUBLE, INT8, UINT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, BOOL, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, BFLOAT16 ND Not greater than 8. โˆš
    dtype (const aclDataType) Input Data type of the output tensor. Must be the same data type as out.
    If dtype is not passed, the data type defaults to the same as self.
    - - - -
    out (aclTensor*) Output The output tensor. The data type is the same as dtype.
    The output shape is (1).
    FLOAT16, FLOAT, DOUBLE, INT8, UINT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, BOOL, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, BFLOAT16 ND - โˆš
    workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Size of the workspace to be applied for on the Device. - - - - -
    executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
    • Atlas inference products and Atlas training products: The BFLOAT16 data type is not supported.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

    The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed self or out is a null pointer.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self is not within the supported range.
    The shape of self or out exceeds 8 dimensions.
    The data type of self cannot be converted to the data type of dtype.
    The data type of dtype is inconsistent with that of out.
    The shape of out does not match the actual shape.

aclnnProd

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
    workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied on the device side.
    workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied on the device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnProdGetWorkspaceSize.
    Executor Input Operator executor that contains the operator computation process.
    Stream Input Specifies the stream for executing the task.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnProd defaults to a deterministic implementation.
