Function
Description: Computes the p-norm distance of each pair of row vectors in the input self.
Formula:
Assume the shape of the input self is [N, M], where represents the element at subscript n in the i-th row of self. The formula for the norm distance between the i-th row and the j-th row is as follows:
The shape of out is [], where the elements are arranged in the order of , ..., ,, ... , ...,
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnPdistGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnPdist" API is called to perform the computation.

Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-Contiguous Tensor self (aclTensor*) Input self in the formula. - FLOAT16, FLOAT ND 2 โ p (float) Input Specifies the norm coefficient, i.e., p in the formula. The value range is [0, +โ]. - - - - out (aclTensor*) Output The out in the formula. The data type must be the same as self. If the shape of self is [N, M], the shape of out is [ยฝN(N-1)]. FLOAT16, FLOAT ND 1 โ workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - - executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - - Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:
Return Value Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed self or out is a null pointer. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self or out is not within the supported range. The data types of self and out are inconsistent. The dimension of self is not 2. The dimension of out is not 1D. The shape of out does not match the expected shape described in the parameters. p is negative or NaN.
aclnnPdist
Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied on the Device side. workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnPdistGetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation process. stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution. Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnPdist defaults to a deterministic implementation.
