Function
Description: Returns the minimum value along the specified dimension in self and its index position. The minimum value is stored in out, and the index of the minimum value is stored in indices. If keepdim is false, the corresponding axis is not retained; if true, the specified axis is retained with a dimension value of 1.
Formula:
Minimum value computation:
Index computation: $$ \text{indices}i = \arg\min{\text{dim}}(\text{self})$$
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnMinDimGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnMinDim" API is called to perform the computation.

Parameters:
Name Input/Output Description Usage Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor self (aclTensor*) Input Target tensor to be converted. The data type is the same as that of out. FLOAT, FLOAT16, INT64, BOOL, BFLOAT16, INT32 ND 1-8 dimensions √ dim (int64_t) Input Specified dimension. Value range: [–self.dim(), self.dim()) INT64 - - - keepdim (bool) Input Indicates whether to retain the reduction axes. - BOOL - - - out (aclTensor*) Output Stores the minimum value. The data type is the same as that of self.
If keepdim is false, the output dimension is the self dimension minus 1.
If keepdim is true, the output dimension is equal to the self dimension.FLOAT, FLOAT16, INT64, BOOL, BFLOAT16, INT32 ND Determined by keepdim √ indices (aclTensor*) Output Index of the minimum value. - INT32 ND Same as out √ workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Size of the workspace to be allocated on the device. - - - - - executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Operator executor, containing the operator computation process. - - - - - Atlas inference products andAtlas training products :- The data types of self and out do not support BFLOAT16 or INT32.
Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products andAtlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products :- The data types of self and out do not support INT32.
Return Value:
aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes. The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:
Return Value Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed self, out, and indices are null pointers. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data types of self, out, and indices are not within the supported range. The dim value exceeds the dimension range of the input self.
aclnnMinDim
Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied on the device side. workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied on the device side, obtained by the first-phase API aclnnMinDimGetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution. Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnMinDim defaults to a deterministic implementation.
