Function
Returns the maximum value and its index position along the specified dimension of a tensor. The maximum value is stored in out, and the index of the maximum value is stored in indices. If keepdim is false, the corresponding axis is not retained; if true, the specified axis is retained with a dimension value of 1.
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnMaxDimGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnMaxDim" API is called to perform the computation.

The value range is [โself.dim(), self.dim()]. - - - - keepdim (bool) Input Whether to keep the dimension of the reduce axis. - If keepdim is false, the corresponding axis is not retained.
- If keepdim is true, the dimension value of the specified axis is 1.
- - - - out (aclTensor*) Output Output tensor of the maximum value. - The data type is the same as that of self.
- If keepdim is false, the output dimension is the self dimension minus 1
- . If keepdim is true, the output dimension is equal to the self dimension.
FLOAT, FLOAT16, INT64, BOOL, BFLOAT16, INT32 ND - โ indices (aclTensor*) Output Index output tensor of the maximum value. - BOOL, FLOAT32, FLOAT16, INT8, INT16, UINT16, UINT8, INT32, INT64, UINT32, UINT64, DOUBLE, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, BFLOAT16 ND - โ workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Size of the workspace to be allocated on the device. - - - - - executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Operator executor, containing the operator computation process. - - - - - Atlas inference products andAtlas training products :- The self and out parameters do not support the BFLOAT16 and INT32 data types.
- The indices parameter does not support the BFLOAT16 data type.
Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products andAtlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products :- self and out do not support the INT32 data type.
Return Value:
aclnnStatus: status code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes. The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:Return Value Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input self, out, or indices is a null pointer. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self, out, or indices is not within the supported range. The data format of self, out, or indices is not within the supported range. dim exceeds the dimension range of the input self.
aclnnMaxDim
Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side. workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnMaxDimGetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution. Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnMaxDim defaults to a deterministic implementation.
