Function
Description: Computes the base-2 logarithm of the sum of exponentials of the input tensors.
Formula:
where represents self and represents other.
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnLogAddExp2GetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnLogAddExp2" API is called to perform the computation.

Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor self (aclTensor*) Input x in the formula. - The data type must be convertible to the data type of out (see Conversion Relationship).
- The shapes of self and other satisfy the broadcast relationship.
FLOAT16, FLOAT, DOUBLE, UINT8, INT8, UINT16, INT16, UINT32, INT32, UINT64, INT64, BOOL, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √ other (aclTensor*) Input y in the formula. - The data type must be convertible to the data type of out (see Conversion Relationship).
- The shapes of other and self satisfy the broadcast relationship.
FLOAT16, FLOAT, DOUBLE, UINT8, INT8, UINT16, INT16, UINT32, INT32, UINT64, INT64, BOOL, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √ out (aclTensor*) Output The out in the formula. The shape must be the shape after broadcasting self and other. FLOAT, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16 ND 0-8 √ workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - - executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - - Atlas inference products andAtlas training products : The BFLOAT16 data type is not supported.
Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:
Return Value Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input self, other, or out is a null pointer. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self, other, or out is not within the supported range. The data type of self and other cannot be converted to the data type of out. The dimension of self, other, or out is greater than 8. The shapes of self and other cannot be broadcast. The shape of out is inconsistent with the broadcast shape of self and other.
aclnnLogAddExp2
Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side. workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnLogAddExp2GetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. stream Input Stream that executes the task. Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnLogAddExp2 defaults to a deterministic implementation.
