Function

Fills the selfRef tensor with numbers sampled from a discrete uniform distribution in the range [from, to-1].

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnInplaceRandomTensorGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that contains the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnInplaceRandomTensor" API to execute the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceRandomTensorGetWorkspaceSize(

aclnnInplaceRandomTensorGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
    selfRef Input/Output Input/output tensor. The empty tensor scenario is not supported. BFLOAT16, FLOAT16, FLOAT32, DOUBLE, INT32, INT64, INT16, INT8, UINT8, BOOL, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128 ND - โˆš
from Input Specifies the left boundary for discrete uniform distribution sampling. The value of from must be within the data type range of selfRef, and the value of from must be less than to. INT64 - - -
to Input The right boundary for discrete uniform distribution sampling. The value of to must be within the data type range of selfRef. INT64 - - -
seedTensor Input Sets the seed value of the random number generator, which affects the generated random number sequence. - INT64 ND [1] โˆš
offsetTensor Input Represents the offset of the random number, which affects the position of the generated random number sequence. After setting the offset, the generated random number sequence starts from the specified position. The accumulated result with the scalar offset serves as the offset of the random number operator. INT64 ND [1] โˆš
offset Input Serves as the accumulation amount for offsetTensor. - - - - -
workspaceSize Output Returns the workspace size to be requested on the Device side. - - - - -
executor Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed selfRef is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of selfRef is not within the supported range.
from is greater than or equal to to.
to exceeds the value range of the data type of selfRef.
