Function

  • Description: Fills the diagonal of a tensor with fillValue.

  • Formula: Taking a two-dimensional tensor as an example, when wrap is False, the fill positions are [r, r], where 0 <= r < m, m = min(col, row), col is the column length, and row is the row length. When wrap is True, the fill positions are [r + (m + 1) * i, r], where 0 <= r < m, m = min(col, row), col is the column length, row is the row length, and 0 <= i < col // r.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnInplaceFillDiagonalGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the input parameters and calculate the required workspace size based on the computation process, and then call the "aclnnInplaceFillDiagonal" API to execute the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnInplaceFillDiagonalGetWorkspaceSize(
    aclTensor*        selfRef,
    const aclScalar*  fillValue,
    bool              wrap,

aclnnInplaceFillDiagonalGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters

    Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
    selfRef (aclTensor*) Input/Output Indicates the input and output tensor to be filled. The maximum dimension of selfRef cannot exceed 2. When the total number of bytes of selfRef exceeds 2^31 bytes (that is, exceeds 2 GB), the operator execution times out. FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, INT32, INT64, INT16, INT8, UINT8, BOOL, COMPLEX64, BFLOAT16. ND 1, 2 √
    fillValue (aclScalar*) Input Indicates the fill value. The data type must be convertible to FLOAT. INT64 - - √
    wrap (bool) Input Indicates the filling mode, corresponding to wrap in the formula. For a tall matrix (where the number of rows is greater than the number of columns), if set to True, a new diagonal is formed every N rows, where N = min(col, row). BOOL - 1, 2 √
    workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - -
    (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

    The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Return Code Description
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 Indicates that fillValue or selfRef is a null pointer.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of selfRef is not within the supported range.
    The dimension of selfRef is less than or equal to 1.
    When the dimension of selfRef is greater than 2, the length of each dimension is different.
    When fillValue cannot be converted to FLOAT.
    When overflow occurs during conversion of fillValue to the data type of selfRef.

aclnnInplaceFillDiagonal

  • Parameters

    Parameter Input/Output Description
    workspace Input Specifies the workspace memory address applied for on the Device side.
    workspaceSize Input Specifies the workspace size applied for on the Device side, which is obtained by the first-phase API aclnnInplaceFillDiagonalGetWorkspaceSize.
    executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation process.
    stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnInplaceFillDiagonal defaults to a deterministic implementation.
