Function

Inputs a tensor and takes the maximum value across the same channel.

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnGlobalMaxPoolGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnGlobalMaxPool" API is called to perform the computation.

aclnnStatus aclnnGlobalMaxPoolGetWorkspaceSize(
  const aclTensor*        self,
  aclTensor*              out,
  uint64_t*               workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor**         executor)
aclnnStatus aclnnGlobalMaxPool(
  void*                   workspace,
  uint64_t                workspaceSize,
  aclOpExecutor*          executor,
  const aclrtStream       stream)

aclnnGlobalMaxPoolGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (Shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
    self (aclTensor*) Input Input tensor. - FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE ND, NCHW, NCDHW 4-8 dims โˆš
    out (aclTensor*) Output Output tensor. Must have the same data type as self. The first two dimensions of out are the same as self, and all other dimensions are 1. FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE ND, NCHW, NCDHW 4-8 dimensions โˆš
    workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be allocated on the device side. - - - - -
    executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

    The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input self or out is a null pointer.
    ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data types of self and out are not within the supported range or are inconsistent.
    The data formats of self and out do not meet the following conditions:
    1) self and out have the same data format;
    2) self and out support ND, NCHW, and NCDHW.
    The shapes of self and out do not meet the following conditions:
    1) The maximum number of dimensions of self and out is 8;
    2) The minimum number of dimensions of self and out is 4;
    3) self and out have the same number of dimensions;
    4) The first two dimensions of out are the same as those of self, and all other dimensions are 1.

aclnnGlobalMaxPool

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
    workspace Input Workspace memory address applied for on the Device side.
    workspaceSize Input Workspace size applied for on the Device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnGlobalMaxPoolGetWorkspaceSize.
    executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
    stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution.
  • Return value

    aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnGlobalMaxPool defaults to a deterministic implementation.
