Function

  • Description: Performs division and floors the result.

  • Formula:

    outi=floor(inputiother)out_i = floor(\frac{input_i}{other})

Function Prototype

aclnnFloorDivides and aclnnInplaceFloorDivides implement the same function. The differences are as follows. Choose the appropriate operator based on your actual scenario.

  • aclnnFloorDivides: A new output tensor object needs to be created to store the computation result.

  • aclnnInplaceFloorDivides: No need to create a new output tensor object. The computation result is stored directly in the memory of the input tensor.

Each operator uses the two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnFloorDividesGetWorkspaceSize" or "aclnnInplaceFloorDividesGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnFloorDivides" or "aclnnInplaceFloorDivides" API to perform the computation.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnFloorDivides&aclnnInplaceFloorDivides defaults to a deterministic implementation.

Atlas A2 training products/Atlas A2 inference products, Atlas A3 training products/Atlas A3 inference products : Due to the limited precision of FLOAT16/BFLOAT16 data types, not all decimals can be represented, resulting in certain errors during floor division. You can choose a higher-precision data type such as FLOAT32.
